I-129F Not Fillable; G-325 Fillable

If the USCIS makes all forms available as PDF documents, why can’t they all have fillable form fields? I prefer to have everything typed neatly. The I-129F isn’t a long form but it’s one of the forms that you need to complete by printing or typing. Maybe it’s a test. When applying for a job, employers probably take note of who types applications and who doesn’t. I’m sure these immigration officials see some terrible handwriting and are grateful to get typed forms.

Form G-325A, Biographic Information

The second form, but still part of the whole I-129F packet, is the Form G-325A, Biographic Information. The version is 9/11/00. There is no filing fee because it is supplemental to the I-129F. A biographic form is completed for both Kristien and me.

So, to apply for a K-1 visa the petitioner needs only to complete two forms. That’s not too complicated. But the burden of proof is on the petitioner to establish that the relationship is legitimate. That requires photos, copies of plane tickets, and anything else that would provide sufficient evidence that Kristien and I have met. That’s going to take some time to compile. I’ll write again when the packet is ready and when I’ve submitted it.
