My last post was almost two months ago. What happened?
After preparing the I-129F packet, which took about one week (a little each evening), I sent the forms to Kristien for her signature. Once they were signed, the return package was delivered in almost one month’s time. The Christmas holiday no doubt contributed to the delay. I’m sure that’s only a small sample of the waiting we’ll have to do for this process. The time actually preparing the documents was negligible; I used a typewriter for the I-129F and needed it for only a few places on the G-325A. The bulk of the work is scanning documents.
The packet I have thus far is thorough. Kristien sent a few more pieces of proof to show our “ongoing relationship.” I’ll go over the packet details in another post. Once it’s in the mail, I’ll start doing some research on what’s next.
