After a few incremental web site designs I released “Web Produce” as a kind of portfolio. This signaled the turning point in my graphic design skills. I focused on more abstract graphics which eventually stirred my interest in logo design.

I was hired as a student clerk for the Collier County Sheriff’s Office in 1996. After working for a short time, they noticed my budding skills in web design. After designing this site I realized there’s truth to the phrase “less is more.”

This was my first website. It was 1996 and The Simpsons TV show was in full swing. The show exerted quite an influence on me. The clever writing and satire hooked me. For a while, I was the coolest kid among my fellow nerds.
