Unsaturated Innovations was started in 2008 and has shifted from a web-development business to one focused on gaming and mobile development. After serving customers on a one-to-one basis for a few years it became apparent that designing software to scale to many customers and be fun should be the primary goals.
There’s no formal business plan. A simple mission statement guides the direction of the company.
How can software be fun and functional at the same time? The mission statement is also a challenge to push software into the vanguard of design. What works? What fails? The hard problems can only be solved if we test what’s possible.
Matthew Crumley is the owner and proprietor of the business. He started learning web design and development in 1997, then attended college to earn a degree in computer engineering, and then an MBA. The business grew from a personal need to find the best use of art design and software to solve problems.
Create fun and functional software that’s accessible to anyone.
The big, hairy, audacious goal is to release a software title that is downloaded 1,000,000 times.
